DISTRIKT is a San Francisco based 501c3 non-profit music and arts organization. Our mission is to support an inclusive and diverse community of performers and artists through events, partnerships, local community involvement and friendship. Originally founded at Burning Man in 2010 and based on Burning Man’s Ten Principles, DISTRIKT has evolved into a globally-recognized and respected organization and we are celebrating our 10th anniversary in 2019.

While DISTRIKT is known for dance music events, we are an ever-evolving organization and it is important for us to have a strong connection to the community that we celebrate. DISTRIKT regularly partners with other community organizations and over the past decade has donated thousands of dollars of event proceeds to other with local and national non-profit organizations. Beginning in Q4 2019, DISTRIKT will be launching a new quarterly volunteer effort focused on helping the community, the country and the planet.
